Apple iPad, iPad Air, and iPad Mini expected soon
Apple appears to be preparing to release new iPad models soon. According to a new source, the business intends to release a brand-new iPad, iPad Air, and iPad Mini later this week.
The information comes from a 9To5Mac report. According to sources close to the situation, the Cupertino-based company plans to debut a new iPad, iPad Air, and iPad Mini tomorrow (17th October 2023). This story, however, contradicts the views of well-known analyst Mark Gurman, who expects that new Apple tablets will be introduced by the end of this year.
However, according to the most recent news, the business is planning to release the new iPads soon. Apple usually releases new tablets a month following the release of a new iPhone. So it stands to reason that new iPads are on their way. However, no official announcements have yet been made. The new iPads will have updated specifications, including an enhanced chipset. The M1 chipset was used in the final iPad Air, while the A15 Bionic and A14 Bionic processors are used in the iPad Mini and basic iPad.
So the iPad Air will most likely get the improved M2 chipset, while the iPad Mini and base iPad may get the A16 Bionic SoC. We previously reported that the iPad Mini 7 will not have a 120Hz ProMotion display. The screen could also include a new controller to remedy the current generation iPad Mini's jelly scrolling issue.
