Apple is Releasing Critical Security Updates for iOS and iPad OS

 Apple recently detected a security patch in iOS and iPadOS and decide to fix these errors.

To address this issue of WebKit security patch that is now being the complaint of users. 

]The Apple Company published Rapid Security Response patches, namely iOS 16.5.1 and iPadOS 16.5.1.

 Users must immediately apply the upgrades to guarantee that their devices are secure.

How to Install the Latest Security Patch on Your iPhone or iPad

Users only need to follow the instruction procedure to install the updates. They can access Settings > General > Software Update and adhere to the guidelines. 

The device will restart after the installation has finished.

These updates are 

  1. iOS 16.5.1 (a) 
  2. and iPadOS 16.5.1 (a), 

These are to show that they are separate from the earlier versions released on June 21st.

Apple has agreed to the possibility that the WebKit bug might let attackers run arbitrary code by analyzing web content on a device of their choosing.

It has not yet come to light whether personal data has leaked from the vulnerability.

Mac users using macOS Ventura 13.4.1 will also get a Rapid Security Response upgrade to fix the same Safari browser vulnerability encountered by iPhone users. 

Users should go to the Apple menu, pick System Settings, click on General, and then select Software Update to install the update on a Mac.
