Apple to boost iPhone 15 sales with Pro's superior features and performance focus

According to a recent Bloomberg story, Apple plans to increase the average selling price of its iPhone 15 series in order to boost revenue this year. This would be made possible by the most costly iPhone ever, the 2023 iPhone 15 Pro Max, but there will also be a change in how the versions are distributed.

Apple believes its total sales will stay at roughly 85 million units this year, despite the uncertain economic climate. Due to CMOS sensor difficulties, there won't be as many base iPhone 15 orders, but Apple will produce more iPhone 15 Pros to make up for the shortage of affordable iPhone 15.

Given that most manufacturers have increased their pricing in the past year or so, it makes some sense for Apple to do the same. In reality, Apple claimed during its introduction event for the iPhone 14 series that it wouldn't be raising pricing. However, this only applied to China and the US; in contrast, European iPhone prices increased dramatically.
