Apple made the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max official as part of its major reveal in yesterday's event, along with the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2.

However, there's still more! The business also disclosed the precise release date for the following significant iOS update. On Monday, September 18, iOS 17, which has been in beta testing throughout the summer, will be officially released.

At that time, it will be available as a free over-the-air update for all iPhone models that are still supported. That includes iPhones starting with the second-generation SE, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max; sadly, it excludes the iPhone X and earlier generations.

We do mean that since this is Apple and not Google, today is the day. On the day they are released, Apple's software upgrades are accessible to anybody who wants them, unlike Google's annoying phased rollout scheme, which may make some users wait weeks to acquire the newest features. Not the case here. On Monday after 10 AM California time, check Settings for iOS 17, and like magic, it will be there waiting for you if you want iOS 17 as soon as possible.
