Augustro vs Gonemad music player.

To reduce eye fatigue and brain strain as a result of lengthy read, I separated the reviews of Gonemad and Augustro from this comparison, so if you want to check the reviews of these players for full details about them, continue reading below.

Augustro and Gonemad share similar features in terms of material design and ui. But they soon began to differ in features and usage. Take for instance, Gonemad music player classic has features like 10band equaliser, fader support on manual and automatic track change.

Augustro on the other hand comes with floating widget control of track, a feature that displays lyrics ontop the now playing track, Augustro does support fader too, but only automatic track change and no option to edit fader timer like Gonemad. Without too much, let’s get down to the major differences between Gonemad and Augustro.

Augustro vs Gonemad

Though both Gonemad and Augustro supports theme, they only do it to a mild extent leaving you desiring more customization.

𝑭𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓: Gonemad has this one due to its full fader control unlike Augustro with a less appealing fader feature.

10𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑬𝑸: Gonemad takes this home too.

π‘΄π’‚π’•π’†π’“π’Šπ’‚π’ 𝑼𝑰: both players have this going for them, but personally I would pick Augustro’s ui over Gonemad.

π‘π’π’π’‚π’•π’Šπ’π’ˆ π’˜π’Šπ’…π’ˆπ’†π’• 𝒂𝒏𝒅 π‘³π’šπ’“π’Šπ’„π’” π’…π’Šπ’”π’‘π’π’‚π’š: Augustro has these to a very beautiful use, though I would have loved to see more controls on the floating widget of Augustro but it’s better than not having it at all.

π™‹π™§π™žπ™˜π™š: it’s funny because despite Augustro being the π™‘π™šπ™–π™¨π™© π™šπ™π™₯π™šπ™£π™¨π™žπ™«π™š of these two, it appears to be the most featured too. So how is something this good this free? Yeah I wasn’t mixing words, Augustro is currently selling for free on the Google play store. So hurry up and check it out.

Table conclusion.

Obviously, if I was faced with a choice of choosing between Gonemad and Augustro. I am definitely be picking Augustro, here are my reasons. Though the absence of Fader on Augustro is a big bummer, I would still pick Augustro for its simple UI, floating widget and beautifully placed lyric display. To cap it all, Augustro is currently free. Once you have used Augustro Music player, any music player without a floating widget becomes a tideos task to use.
