Honor Magic6 to Feature On-Device Assistant YOYO Powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

At the current Snapdragon Summit 2023, Honor announced that the next Magic6 series would be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3's integrated generative AI language models will be utilized by the Magic6 to power YOYO, a new personal assistant. Being on-device, the big language model will be able to employ up to 7 billion parameters and won't require any personal data to be sent remotely to function. This implies that you will be able to ask your personal assistant questions, get personalized responses, and have it make short films with images and videos from your device.

The other innovation, Magic Capsule, uses Snapdragon Seamless technology to provide a multimodal experience based on eye tracking.

Honor hasn't yet provided a release date for the Magic6 announcement, but we anticipate it to happen before March when the Magic5 series debuted.
