iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max may be hard to get when they launch.

The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max are expected to have limited availability when they launch in September due to manufacturing challenges.

A recent source claims that after their September release, the Apple iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max, will be in short supply. Problems with LG Display's screen manufacturing are the cause of this.

These issues are caused by the new manufacturing method that is being used to reduce the bezel size. It's a comparable problem to one that Apple previously experienced with several Apple Watch models.

According to reports, reliability tests on the displays for the LG-made iPhone 15 Pro (and, once more, especially the Pro Max) are failing while the display is fusing to the metal body. Besides the LG panels that it is now modifying to make them pass the aforementioned tests, Apple still has Samsung displays that it can assemble.

And yet, it is claimed that these problems will make fewer units readily available from the start. The most challenging model to obtain will be the iPhone 15 Pro Max, followed by the Pro.

This fresh source disputes another report from earlier today that suggested Apple will push back the debut by a few weeks, supporting the idea that there will be a shortage. In any case, there's a problem with those displays, and it's affecting Apple's launch schedule.
