iPhone 15 Production Slowed by 7% as Apple Struggles to Source Components

iphone 15 series cut

Apple will unveil the newest generation of its devices, the Apple iPhone 15 series, in a few weeks, which will include the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, and 15 Ultra or 15 Pro Max.

The next smartphones are currently in full production, but the Cupertino-based technology juggernaut has curtailed manufacture because of supply-chain issues, according to a recent source.

The projection for the new iPhones has been decreased from 83 million to 77 million units, according to Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu.

According to analysts at Japan's Mizuho Bank, the iPhone 15 series will sell 73 million devices rather than 84 million. It also predicts that Apple will produce 217 million iPhones in 2023, up from 227 million originally forecast.

According to rumors, Apple will introduce the iPhone 15 series handsets in September, with variants available for sale on September 22nd, except for the iPhone 15 Pro Max (Ultra).

The 15 Pro Max's release date may be pushed back until October. This is attributed to Sony's inability to supply enough camera sensors in time for this model. It's worth noting that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be the first iPhone to employ a periscope lens.
