Our verdict
There is not a great deal to go on with the spec. They both use the same fabrication process and have the same basic CPU design. MediaTek does have a significantly higher frequency, with a 13.6% difference on the A78 core and a 17.6% difference on the A55 core. Qualcomm achieves a decent score for a mid-range Chipset, but MediaTek is well ahead by 15% and sets the trend for the rest of the comparison.
While both Chipsets are good, the MediaTek 920 edges out in most categories. The SD 695 is a good Chipset but it fails to offer much competition against the MediaTek Density 920. You probably wouldn't notice the difference, but if you do any gaming or use the GPU-intensive application, the SD 695 will not be the best choice for you.
If you want a device/chip with a good GPU and all its functions, plus a great experience while gaming, then the MediaTek Dimensity 920 is the one for you.
