With a remarkable four-year lifespan, the battery is tailored for extended usage. The integration of the SuperVOOC S power management chip plays a crucial role in optimizing energy consumption, achieving an industry-leading discharge efficiency of 99.5 percent.
Exciting performance metrics of the Ace 3’s battery include an impressive 17.4 hours of video playback, 15.7 hours of Douyin short videos, and a solid 8.7 hours of intense gameplay on “Honor of Kings” before needing a recharge. OnePlus has also confirmed that the Ace 3 will support rapid 100W fast charging. However, it's worth noting that wireless charging won't be part of the feature set.
Turning to other specifications, the OnePlus Ace 3 boasts a 6.78-inch OLED panel supplied by BOE, offering a sharp 1.5K resolution and an ultra-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The front camera is a capable 16-megapixel shooter, while the rear camera setup impresses with a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX890, OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera configuration. The device is expected to hit the market in three variants – 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, and 16GB+1TB – with a starting price of around 3,299 Yuan (~$465). Color options include Star Black, Moon Sea, and Sand Gold.
Interestingly, for global markets like India, Europe, and North America, the OnePlus Ace 3 will be rebranded as the OnePlus 12R. The 12R is slated to make its official debut alongside the OnePlus 12 on January 23 through a highly-anticipated global launch event.
