One Plus 12 Leaks: New Periscope Lens Spotted
Some CAD-based renders of the upcoming OnePlus 12 have been released today. According to previous rumors, the smartphone will be the first OnePlus device to include a periscope zoom camera.
The periscope requires some adjustments to the camera module's design, which is quite like the OnePlus 11's. The periscope is in the bottom 'row' of the island by itself, while the main and ultrawide sensors are next to each other in the top 'row. The emblem for the ongoing Hasselblad partnership is between these "rows."
OnePlus 12: More Features & Specifications
The screen is slightly curved, and the hole-punch cut out for the selfie camera is centered, which, believe it or not, is a huge change for OnePlus, as even the 11 has it on the left side. The display is to measure 6.7", and of course, it will be a 120 Hz QHD+ OLED.
Even the 11 has the selfie camera hole-punch cutout on the left side, so this is a significant move for OnePlus. The screen is somewhat curved, and the selfie camera hole-punch is now in the middle. The panel is anticipated to be 6.7" and will undoubtedly be a 120 Hz QHD+ OLED.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which should be launched in October, will most likely power the OnePlus 12. Recent information indicates that the OnePlus 12 will sport a 5,000 mAh battery compatible with 100W or 150W rapid wired charging.
The periscope zoom camera will have a 64 MP OmniVision sensor, while the main and ultrawide cameras are also expected to feature 50 MP resolution. A 32 MP camera will be responsible for taking selfies.
