Oppo A18 and A38 TDRA certification hints at imminent launch.

oppo a18 and a38 certification

Earlier last week, Oppo introduced the 50MP, 33W-charging new Oppo A58 4G in India. Additionally, speculations indicate that the A series might soon introduce two additional inexpensive smartphones. The Oppo A18 and Oppo A38 have been making the rounds on several certification sites, and they recently received TDRA certification, which suggests that a global launch is about to happen.

The TDRA certification website lists the Oppo A18 and Oppo A38 with the model codes CPH2591 and CPH2579, respectively. The authority said the two gadgets will launch soon but withheld any technical details. Both phones are anticipated to only feature 4G, making them launch as low-cost options.

The Oppo A18 appears to be the successor of the Oppo A17, which made its debut in September of last year, based on the name. This phone sports a 6.56-inch HD+ (7201,612 pixels) LCD with a body-to-screen ratio of 89.8% and a refresh rate of up to 60Hz. The panel offers a 269ppi pixel density and a 60Hz touch sampling rate.

It has a MediaTek Helio G35 CPU, a 5,000mAh battery, and a micro-USB charging connection. On the back, there is a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth camera.

According to this reasoning, Oppo A38 should be the successor of Oppo 36 from a year ago (Oppo A37 existed, but it was a long time ago). The Oppo A36 is a standard low-cost smartphone featuring a Snapdragon 680 SoC. It has a 6.56-inch LCD with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels (HD+), a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and a sampling rate of 180 Hz for touch. The smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery and 10W charging capabilities.
