Oppo Find N3 Flip launched: A Foldable Phone with Hasselblad Cameras and a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Chipset
Oppo's latest clamshell foldable, the Find N3 Flip, was introduced today. It is an improvement on last year's Find N2 Flip, with the main difference this year being the Hasselblad camera system. There's a new 48MP ultrawide module with a 114 field of view and a 32MP portrait lens with a 47mm equal and 2x optical zoom. The primary sensor is a 24mm equivalent to a 50MP device with an f/1.8 aperture, 1.0m pixels, and OIS.
The 3.26-inch AMOLED cover screen stays the same size, but it now has greater functionality, letting users run applications and widgets without having to unfold their Find N3 Flip. The speech referenced several travel, navigation, audio, and social networking apps, as well as smart key integration for newer vehicles.
The N3 Flip also receives a newer MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor, faster LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. One of the few design modifications is the new mute switch, which has three positions, the same as on OnePlus phones.
The rest of the essential specifications are virtually identical to last year's Find N2 Flip. A 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED primary display with 1080 x 2520 px resolution and a 1-120Hz variable refresh rate is included. The panel employs ultra-thin glass (UTG) and can provide up to 1,600 nits of peak brightness.
On top of Android 13.0, ColorOS 13.2 provides the software side. The battery is still limited to 4,300 mAh and is compatible with 44W rapid charging rates.
Oppo Find N3 Flip is available in Black, Gold, and Rose hues. The 12/256GB variant costs CNY 6,799 ($932), while the 12/512GB trim costs CNY 7,599 ($1,042).
The Find N3 Flip is now available for pre-order in China, and open sales are expected to start on September 8. Oppo has not yet provided information about pricing and availability outside of China, but we anticipate that they will do so in the future.
