POCO M6 Pro 5G with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC released in India today.
A new M-series smartphone from POCO has been unveiled in India. The POCO M6 Pro 5G is it. It comes as the M4 Pro 5G's successor from last year. The company did not release an M5 Pro model. The most recent product is a rebranded Redmi Note 12R that is sold in China.
The POCO M6 Pro 5G's 6.79-inch center-aligned punch-hole display has a 90Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and a maximum brightness of 550 nits. The smartphone's design features include a dual-tone back panel and an enlarged Black camera module. The power button has a fingerprint scanner.
The POCO M6 Pro 5G has a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor for imaging purposes. A front-facing 8MP selfie camera is present.
A Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor built on a 4nm technology powers the POCO M6 Pro 5G's internals. It has 128GB of internal storage and up to 6GB of RAM. Virtual RAM technology of up to 6GB is available for slick performance. A 5,000mAh battery unit that supports 18W rapid charging powers the smartphone. It comes pre-installed with the Android 13 OS.
The POCO M6 Pro 5G has WiFi 5, a 3.5mm headphone connector, IR Blaster, Bluetooth, and 5G as connectivity options.
The colors Forest Green and Power Black are available for the POCO M6 Pro 5G. Priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB + 64GB base model and Rs. 12,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model. Holders of ICICI Bank credit cards are eligible for a flat discount of Rs 1,000 when buying smartphones. On August 9, it will start selling on Flipkart.
