Redmi 10 5G: is this the cheapest 5G device yet?

Technically speaking, I am not comfortable using the word 'cheap' to describe the affordability of the Redmi 10 5G, but what other term will I use to describe this?
Lets meet the Redmi 10 5G
Specs wise, the Redmi 10 5G brings both creativity and hardware into an affordable bargain.
Chipset.
Redmi could have gone for any of the less expensive 5G chipsets, but they went for the capable Dimensity 700 chipset which is both 5G capable and also built on the 7nm process node.
Yes, I know what you're thinking 'is there any other 5G soc cheaper than the Dimensity 700?', nope there aren't.. So yeah, Redmi went for the cheapest offering.
Build.
Considering the fact that the Redmi 10 5G falls under the low-budget smartphone segment, the build quality is what any device in its price range would have.
We talking about:
- Plastic build.
- Corning gorilla glass 3 screen protection.
- 83% screen to body ratio
- Full HD display of 1080 x 2408 pixels. Aspect 20:9 ratio, 90hz refresh rate.
- 401 ppi density.
- 6.58inch display.
Hardware/storage.
The base variant of the Redmi 10 5G ships with 4/64 and the top model offers 6/128.
There is an option of 4/128 too, but these storage versions all come with the F2.2.
Camera.
The Redmi 10 5G has a 50mp main camera and a 2mp depth sensor secondary camera.
Software.
Redmi 10 5G comes out of the box booting to Android 11 onto the Miui 13.
Connectivity.
Dual sim standby, 5G, 4G, 3G, 2G. WiFi and hotspot.
Bluetooth 5.1, infrared, USB C and otg, 3.5mm jack, fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, proximity, compass, GPS and NFC [market dependant].
Battery.
5000mah with 18 Watts fast charge support.
Price.
Specs wise, the Redmi 10 5G is the real deal if you are looking for a 5G capable device at an affordable pricing.
