There have been few revelations concerning the Redmi10 series, the most recent one coming from a leakster on twitter as regards to the camera configuration of the Redmi 10.

Redmi 10 camera is rumored to consist of a 50mp main camera lens, an 8mp and a 2mp secondary lenses, making the Redmi10 a triple camera configuration.

Mediatek helio G88

Mediatek recently unveiled its midrange inhouse chipsets consisting of Helio G96 and G88.

The previous Redmi9 is driven by the Mediatek G80 chipset while the Redmi9T was backed by a Snapdragon 660 chipset.

Few leaks have suggested that the Redmi10 will be powered by a Mediatek chipset.

From our discovery and cross-references, we are guessing that either the Redmi10 or Redmi10T is going to be driven by the recently launched Mediatek G88.

We came to this assumption because the Redmi Note 10 series that launched few months ago already had its fair share of Mediatek chipsets.

The Redmi Note 10s is backed by the Helio G95 chipset, why the Redmi Note 10 5G is equipped with a Dimensity 700 5G chipset.

The mediatek G88 comes with support for a 64mp main camera, which happens to be within the camera range of the Redmi10 camera configuration speculation.

Contradictions of the Redmi10 Series coming with Mediatek Helio G88.

The Redmi10 coming with the newly launched Mediatek G88 chipset will almost nullify the Redmi Note 9 as a competitor.

This is because the Redmi Note 9 is backed by a Mediatek helio G85 chipset.



Our guess is, if a Redmi10 series will be using the new Helio G88 chipset, its likely to be the Redmi10T.

The previous generation, Redmi9T was equipped with a snapdragon 660 chipset.
