Samsung Galaxy A25 5G Benchmarks Show Promising Performance
The newest member of the Samsung A series may be the Galaxy A25, but not until 2019. It wouldn't make sense for Samsung to release the Galaxy A24's successor in the same year as the original, which was introduced in April of this year. Nevertheless, information regarding the phone has started to emerge, and a recent Geekbench listing has confirmed several key aspects.
Some important technical details for the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G with model number SM-A256B have been exposed in the Geekbench listing. It will have an eight-core Exynos 1280 SoC and a massive 8GB of RAM. On the software front, this future Galaxy A-series model will ship with Android 13 pre-installed, with the One UI shell on top. During benchmarking, the smartphone was able to get scores of 937 on the single-core test and 2106 on the multi-core test.
The smartphone would sport a 6.44-inch display with a waterdrop notch, according to CAD renderings published in a previous article. An LED light and a triple-lens camera system are visible on the phone's rear. The gadget sports a volume rocker and a side-facing fingerprint sensor for security.
The Galaxy A25 sports a 3.5mm headphone connector and a single speaker. The device's dimensions are said to be 162 x 77.5 x 8.3mm. According to a different claim, the Galaxy A25's back would have a 50MP primary camera. It will come with a 13MP camera on the front. According to this, the phone will likely have identical main and selfie cameras like the Galaxy A24.
