Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra to Have Titanium Frame, According to Latest Rumors
As previously reported, Samsung's next Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to have a titanium frame, following in the footsteps of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. And this is confirmed by yet another rumor that surfaced today; this one comes from South Korea, home of Samsung.
Unidentified sources claim that the S24 Ultra will be the first Samsung smartphone with an exterior titanium frame. The business may decide to spread this capability to other models based on how well-received it is.
Similar rumors had surfaced in the past, but early in October, one of them disproved the others, saying that the titanium frames of the S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra would be the same. It's only the Ultra left for now.
As per the research released today, Samsung's aluminum frames now cost less than $20. Yields will play a crucial role in the wider use of titanium, as low yields might result in price increases of up to four or five times, an outcome that would be unacceptable. Let us thus cross our fingers.
The S24 Ultra is the intended receiver as Samsung has stated that it would produce 15 million titanium frames first, which also happens to be the identical number of Galaxy S23 Ultra devices that have arrived this year.
The article continues by stating that the S24 Ultra would feature a flat-screen and that, similar to the aforementioned iPhones, its inner frame will be made of aluminum with an exterior frame made of titanium.
