The arrival of 5G connectivity has given most chipset manufacturers a new tide to ride.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset is the latest chipset to join the list of midrange 5G chipsets to offer consumers a better variety.

The Snapdragon 6series chipsets are known for their whatered down specifications and minimal computing power to cater for the midrange smartphone segment.

The SD 695 5G chip comes as an upgrade to the Snapdragon 690 chipset launched earlier.

One of the major highlights of the SD 695 is the presence of a Snapdragon X51 5G Modem-RF System supports multiple frequencies and modes for utmost flexibility and accessibility, including Sub-6 GHz and mmWave, plus SA and NSA modes, TDD, FDD, and DSS.

With the above modem, the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset gives a wider range of 5G connectivity to midrange smartphones.

Also, the Kryo 660 CPU offers a 15% improvement since the predecessor, packing new architecture for speed, up to 2.2 GHz.

The Qualcomm SD 695 5G is developed on a 6nm process, for a better efficiency, while Quick Charge 4+ Technology powers up to 50% battery life in just 15 minutes; which is an incredible stats for a midrange chipset.

The chipset was announced few hours ago via snapdragon’official, but no statement as regarding when we can expect devices with chipset.

If we are to speculate, we would say at least 2 devices powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset will be unveiled before this year ends.
