The newly launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 are now available in Russia.
Last week, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Flip5, announcing that they would go on sale in two weeks. The maker had vowed to halt exports to Russia in response to the unjustified invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, but both foldables are currently available there.
The Current price of Samsung Galaxy Z fold5 and Flip5 in Russia
According to the current conversion rate, the Flip5 starts at RUB110,000, or roughly $1,200, while the Fold5 is available via local carrier mts for RUB189,990, or $2,062. Both phones are available for same-day store pickup or next-day delivery, and they come with high-end wearables.
TASS revealed over the weekend that the Z-flaunting nation had started selling the Z phones two weeks ahead of schedule. Mts is selling the Galaxy Z Fold5 in a package with a free Galaxy Watch5 Pro, which was the company's top-tier smartwatch last year.
The pricing we listed above is for the 256 GB model; the 512 GB and 1 TB models cost RUB 199,990 ($2,170) and RUB 219,990 ($2,390), respectively; these prices are 10% to 15% higher than those of the US equivalents.
This foldable is approximately 20% more expensive than it is in the United States. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 is available with either 256 GB storage or 512 GB storage. This foldable comes with Galaxy Buds2 Pro as part of the local carrier's bundle.
All new gadgets are now available for pre-order at several significant online retailers, including M.Video, Eldorado, Megafon, and even Samsung's official store 1galaxy.ru. The Galaxy S23 series landed in the nation 11 days ahead of planned, as the TASS Agency pointed out. This isn't the first time Samsung has made its flagships available in Russia before the rest of the world.
