The Samsung Galaxy S24 is said to have commenced production and is on track for a January 2024 release.
It is reported that manufacturing of Samsung's Galaxy S24 series—which comprises the normal Galaxy S24, the S24+, and the S24 Ultra—is about to begin. January 2024 is suggested as the possible debut date.
The aforementioned information has surfaced from many sources, including the well-known Chinese tipster Ice Universe (via Tech_Reve on X), indicating that the flagship devices appear to be in mass production. Although the precise launch window is still unknown, most leaks indicate a mid- to late-January release, and some even suggest an earlier debut date.
China's 3C certification body is said to have validated the regular Galaxy S24, and excellent renderings of both the standard and Ultra models have appeared online, providing an idea of the anticipated appearance. According to rumors, the Galaxy S24 may come with a 6.17-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a battery that can hold between 3900mAh and 4000mAh, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU.
Given that the Galaxy S24+ Korean model appears on Geekbench with an Exynos 2400 processor and 12GB RAM, the ordinary S24 and S24+ in some territories may use the same chipset. For the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Samsung intends to provide cutting-edge technologies like Zoom Anywhere and E2E AI Remosaic. Furthermore, rumors suggest that the Galaxy S24 series may include a Titanium body that is modeled after the iPhone 15 Pro.
Sammobile asserts that the trend of delivering Samsung's flagship models ahead of schedule is not new; previous iterations, such as the Galaxy S22 and S23, were unveiled in January 2021 and February 2022, respectively. Samsung has also made a strategic shift regarding its Unpacked presentations; the corporation no longer bases its releases only in the US, as shown with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 events in Korea.
As Samsung looks to expand on the success of the S23 series, the Galaxy S24 series is generating a lot of enthusiasm. Though some are concerned about the return of the Exynos chipset, the tech world is holding off on making any decisions until after the new smartphones are formally released and have had a chance to use them.
It's also possible that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU will be included in every area where the Galaxy S24 Ultra is sold. The upcoming Galaxy S24 series appears to be a big announcement for Samsung and might have a big impact on the smartphone industry in 2024.
