The Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G has finally been released after several speculations and indications over the past few weeks. This flip phone is targeted at the medium price level, unlike other flip phones, yet it still contains many of the glitzy features you'd anticipate from a very costly folding phone.
The brand's aesthetic is influenced by the universe, with features like "The Planet," a circular cover screen, and an "Asteroid Belt"-themed integrated camera module. To increase the feeling of luxury, the company added a premium lychee-pattern classic leather (vegan leather) on the back.
The 1.32-inch cover display of the smartphone sports an AMOLED panel with a 466 × 466 resolution. The internal display of the phone is a 6.9-inch flexible LTPO AMOLED screen with FHD+ (1080 x 2460 pixels) resolution, a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, a maximum brightness of 1000 nits, and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Even after 200,000 folds, the maker promises that the display will remain nearly crease-free.

One Super Core with a maximum speed of 3GHz, three Performance Cores with a maximum speed of 2.6GHz, and three Performance Cores comprise the Cortex-A78 cores. The graphics processor is an Arm Mali-G77 with nine cores.
A 4,000mAh battery with 45W quick charging capability is also included in the smartphone, ensuring that 33% of the battery will be charged in just 10 minutes. The Phantom V Flip will provide a variety of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.3, and 5G connectivity with support for 14 different 5G bands. Regarding the operating system, Tecno has developed a distinctive HiOS 13.5 that is modeled off Android 13.
The Phantom V Flip 5G will soon have scented protection covers available from Tecno. According to the firm, the case uses scented microcapsules that are progressively released by pressure, friction heating, or natural dispersion throughout the leather production process. Under regular usage circumstances, the fragrance might linger for more than a year. There will be three flavors to choose from: Rose, Seaside, and Cologne.
