Xiaomi 14 Pro Debuts With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and HyperOS
The ordinary and pro versions make up the Xiaomi 14 series. Of the two gadgets, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is the more expensive model. It comes with improvements over its predecessor. In addition to the flagship smartphones, Xiaomi has also revealed the Xiaomi TV 85-inch and the Watch 5 series.
Xiaomi 14 Pro Design
Comparatively speaking, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is not the same as the Xiaomi 14. It does, however, have the same design language, which includes a huge, projecting square camera module on the rear panel and a boxy appearance. Due to its IP68 certification, the smartphone is water and dustproof. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 additionally protects the screen from scuffs and unintentional damage.
Xiaomi 14 Pro Display

Regarding optics, the Xiaomi 14 Pro has three rear cameras that are equipped with Leica's renowned technology. The camera is equipped with a 50MP telephoto unit with a focal length of 75mm, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a focal length of 14mm, and a Hunter 900 50MP primary sensor with a focal length of 23mm. It supports OIS on both the primary and telephoto lenses, plus it includes a variable aperture function. It is claimed that the smartphone can launch the camera in 0.8 seconds and capture scenes. Up to 8K video may be recorded with it. The Xiaomi 14 Pro sports a 32MP front-facing camera for taking selfies.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU houses the Xiaomi 14 Pro's internal hardware. It has 1TB of storage and up to 16GB of RAM. There is a heat dissipation system built inside the gadget. With capabilities for 50W wireless, 10W reverse wireless charging and 120W rapid cable charging, the smartphone's 4,880mAh battery pack powers the device. The Xiaomi 14 Pro comes pre-installed with the latest HyperOS from the firm, which is based on Android 14 and has additional features and a sleeker look. The Xiaomi 14 Pro also has X-Axis linear motor, WiFi-7, Bluetooth, 4-mic array, and 5G.
Pricing and Availability
The starting pricing of the Xiaomi 14 Pro with the 12GB + 256GB variant is CNY 4,999 (~$683). The most expensive RAM and storage configurations, 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB, cost CNY 5,499 (~$751) and CNY 5,999 (~$819), respectively. There will be three color options: white, black, and green.
