Xiaomi 14 Pro global launch doubtful, limited availability
The 14 and 14 Pro flagship smartphones from Xiaomi were revealed at the end of October, and a few days later, they were made available for purchase in China. As is customary with Xiaomi's end-of-year launches, we anticipated that they would receive a worldwide release sometime soon. After being originally introduced to China, they were also launched globally a few months later.
According to a fresh rumor today, that will reportedly still happen for the Xiaomi 14, but the Xiaomi 14 Pro won't be joining it. The information may be deduced by looking at the software that the business is creating for global markets.
The 14 Pro is still receiving a lot of software development, but the bad news is that worldwide versions of Xiaomi's HyperOS are no longer being developed. Naturally, there's a potential that the person who provided the information is unaware that Xiaomi's servers offer another location to seek for such builds.
However, it appears that just one of the 14 models will be leaving China, which may make a minuscule amount of sense. The 14 Pro might become the company's forgotten middle child if a 14 Ultra is released as well, which is inevitable. Perhaps its market research indicated that consumers would prefer the Ultra's all-in-one package or the vanilla model, with little room for a middle option.
This news will undoubtedly disappoint many who have been eagerly awaiting the 14 Pro's global release; yet, as it is still unofficial, there may still be hope. According to rumors, the 14 will have its worldwide premiere in January. (and it should also appear in India at a later date). This means we could find out quite soon.
