On Geekbench, a brand-new smartphone featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor has been discovered. It is evident from product number Nubia NX769J that this is either a prototype Red Magic 9 series gadget or a Nubia Z60 series device. The Pineapple motherboard features a 1+5+2 core cluster, as predicted by Ice Universe.

The device's prime core has a maximum clock speed of 3.19GHz, while the base clock speed is 2.27GHz. After that, the device's Geekbench 5 scores are 1596 for the single-core test and 5977 for the multi-core test.

Geekbench previously received single-core and multi-core results for the purported Samsung Galaxy S24+ US model of 2223 and 6661 points, respectively. It works on an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with a maximum clock speed of 3.30GHz.

The single-core and multi-core performance of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor has undoubtedly increased, but the GPU on the SoC is also expected to see a significant performance increase. To obtain an understanding of the performance, we'll need to wait till some GPU benchmarks leak out. Keep an eye out till then.
